Take advantage of the year-round mild climate to enjoy the best this island has to offer – from the splendours of nature, its beaches, delicious traditional cuisine and culture. Are you ready for a dream holiday?!

Immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes

Madeira is a true paradise for nature lovers, and offers the perfect combination of majestic mountains and serene ocean.
If you like mountains, you’ll be amazed by the panoramic views that stretch as far as the eye can see. Surrounded by nature and its welcoming environments, our 4-star boutique hotel, PortoBay Serra Golf is the ideal place for your stay.
If you prefer the sea, a visit to the Avista restaurant at the 5-star hotel Les Suites at The Cliff Bay is a must. Here, you can enjoy a delicious meal with a sea view that is guaranteed to leave you amazed. ... For somewhere to stay, we recommend the Vila Porto Mare resort, an authentic paradise overlooking the ocean. We also suggest the 4-star Porto Santa Maria hotel, located in the old town of Funchal, which also has sea views.

Dive into crystal clear, refreshing waters

Visiting Madeira means diving into its blue, crystal clear waters; whatever time of year it is, the amenable temperatures make this a good option!!
You’ll find various beaches across the island and places to have a dip and do a wide range of water sports. If you want an even more special experience, take the opportunity to discover the south coast of the island aboard a private sailing boat or yacht.
To enjoy the sea throughout your stay in Madeira, we recommend The Cliff Bay 5-star hotel, well known for its access to the sea, as well as another 5-star hotel, Les Suites at The Cliff Bay, which shares the same facilities.

Indulge yourself with the island's typical food and drinks

During your visit to Madeira, there are some typical local dishes and drinks you cannot miss. .. among them is the traditional Madeiran kebab, which you can find at the Avó Micas restaurant inside the 4-star PortoBay Serra Golf hotel, or bolo do caco bread with garlic butter and the famous poncha.
If you're looking for more sophisticated versions of local produce, enjoy a memorable gastronomic experience at the 2-star Michelin restaurant Il Gallo d’Oro, inside the 5-star hotel The Cliff Bay – but be sure to book your table in advance!

LISBON

The Portuguese capital is pure magic. Its architecture, culture, cuisine and characteristic light, which illuminates the city in such a special way, make Lisbon an ideal holiday destination.

Lose yourself in the city
Lisbon has a vast number of historic streets, squares and avenues which are full of life and worth exploring. Among them, the famous Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo, Praça do Chiado, and, of course, the luxurious Avenida da Liberdade, one of the city's main avenues with abundant shops and street kiosks. Just a few minutes' walk from this avenue is the 5-star PortoBay Liberdade hotel, designed for visitors who are looking for comfort and sophistication. On Rua Duque de Palmela, just around the corner from Praça Marquês de Pombal and a short distance from Avenida da Liberdade, you will find the 4-star PortoBay Marquês hotel, which is ideal if travelling with your family!
We also suggest a walk through Alfama, one of Lisbon's traditional neighbourhoods, where you can stroll through narrow alleyways and admire endless buildings covered in Portugal's famous hand-painted tiles. This is also where the voices of fado singers echo, emanating from the various fado houses dotted throughout the neighbourhood.

Enjoy the panoramic views

Something that you cannot miss during your trip to Lisbon is a visit to some of the many viewpoints located in various parts of the city. .. add these classic viewpoints to your itinerary: Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, Miradouro de Santa Catarina (or Adamastor), Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Miradouro da Graça!!
Take the opportunity to relax and enjoy a drink at the city's various terrace cafés, including the one at the 5-star PortoBay Liberdade hotel, which has a magnificent panoramic view.

Try some typical cuisine

Many of Portugal’s traditional dishes originated in Lisbon, and it would be rude not to try them during your stay in the capital. .. trust us, you won't regret it! Two of these typical Lisbon treats are the famous pastel de nata and Bacalhau à Brás.
The pastel de nata is one of the hallmarks of Lisbon, especially those made and sold in Belém at the iconic Pastéis de Belém pastry shop. This tart can also be found in many of the city's pastry shops and cafés.
Bacalhau à Brás, another dish you cannot miss, consists of flaked cod, fried potato sticks and egg. Enjoy an adaptation of this delicacy at the Bistrô4 restaurant in the 5-star PortoBay Liberdade hotel.
