FROM THE VEGETABLE GARDEN TO THE TABLE!
HORTA brings the concept of healthy comfort food to Funchal! A gastronomic experience resulting from a great commitment to local and proximity ingredients, mostly from the PortoBay vegetable garden.
It is located on the pleasant Lido promenade next to the Il Basilico Italian restaurant, also part of the Group.
In 2024, less than a year after opening, the restaurant was distinguished by the MICHELIN Guide and entered the list of recommended restaurants of the prestigious Guide.
THE RESTAURANT
A space with light decor and natural touches. The wooden furniture and warm spot lighting provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Outside, a discreet and very pleasant terrace is located among the green vegetation. Here, the menu is full of healthy, innovative dishes with surprising flavours.
