To face the Covid-19 pandemic, the Brazilian authorities have established the following measures:

 


Entry into Brazil (by air):

Any passenger, Brazilian or foreigner, traveling to Brazil from international origin must present to the airline responsible for the flight, before boarding:

1) Proof, printed or electronically, of vaccination with immunizers approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) or by the World Health Organization or by the authorities of the country where the traveler was immunized, whose application of the last dose or single dose occurred at least fourteen days before the date of departure.
2) Laboratory test (RT-PCR), for screening for SARS-CoV-2 infection, with a negative result, performed within 72 hours prior to departure, or antigen test (TRAg) performed within 24 hours prior to departure ; and

3) Traveler's Health Declaration completed (printed or digitally) with agreement on the health measures that must be complied with during the period in Brazil.

Proof of vaccination and laboratory test will not be required for children under 12 years old.

Measurements Rio de Janeiro

- mandatory to present a vaccination passport when accessing the following services: hotels, bars, restaurants, snack bars, beauty and beauty salons, inns and seasonal rental places, gyms, clubs, stadiums, fairs, conventions, tourist attractions, museums and theaters. Between 18 and 49 years old must have at least the second dose of the vaccine. People aged 50 and over should have a booster dose. Learn more here.
