True Italian Essence Returns to Il Basilico

The restaurant Il Basilico, located in the Vila Porto Mare resort, once again hosts the “True Italian Essence” festival, an event that has been bringing the best of Italian cuisine to the table for over 10 years. This year, the festival runs from 24th January to 2nd February, featuring an exclusive menu that includes delights such as bruschetta, carpaccio, risotto, ravioli, tortellini, focaccia, and pizza.

In this edition, Chef Cristiano Cutietta teams up with the chefs from Il Basilico in Porto, Lisbon, and Algarve to recreate memorable dishes from previous editions and introduce new creations, offering a fusion of Italian flavours that promises to captivate visitors. At the end of the meal, guests vote for their favourite dishes, which will then be highlighted in the restaurant’s next menu update.
