New restaurant “Horta” on Madeira Island

The Horta restaurant is open, the new gastronomic proposal of PortoBay Hotels & Resorts in Funchal. Integrated in the Vila Porto Mare resort, next to the well-known Il Basilico restaurant, Horta presents a gastronomic concept of healthy comfort food, with a menu full of healthy, innovative dishes with surprising flavours. There is a clear preference for local ingredients, most of them coming from the PortoBay vegetable garden, an area of around 5000 m2 in the upper part of Funchal.
