This slogan reflects not only the origins of the PortoBay group on the Portuguese island of Madeira but also its expansion into areas connected to the Atlantic Ocean. Our brand’s presence in Portugal and Brazil helps revive the memory of our discoveries and Atlantic expansion.
The group’s growth has been based on choosing the best locations, both urban sites and resorts, which is confirmed by the questionnaires that we regularly ask guests to fill in. Along with recommendations made by friends, the location of the hotels is one of the main reasons for those who visit us for the first time.
