"Duetos" (Duets) is the name of the new series of gastronomic events by PortoBay Hotels & Resorts. By definition, a duet is a "composition performed by two voices or two instruments". The Duets we are proposing are also made by two voices, the resident chef and the guest chef, and the result is also a composition, in this case culinary, between the products and ingredients from the restaurants' places of origin.
The Il Gallo d’Oro restaurant hosts the event for the first time on 30 March. Chef Benoît Sinthon welcomes Chef Julien Montbabut, from Le Monument restaurant at Maison Albar Hotels Le Monumental Palace, in Porto, and aims to provide a culinary experience of 9 dishes.
The dishes are carefully prepared to provide a journey for the palate, with flavours and combinations that are sure to surprise anyone. During dinner, two sommeliers will be present, the house sommelier Leonel Nunes, and guest Bruna Brígida, to help you choose the perfect wine to complement each dish.
