2 PortoBay Group Hotels Receive MICHELIN Keys

At the official launch of the Portuguese selection of MICHELIN Keys, held at MAAT, Lisbon, the hotels Les Suites at The Cliff Bay  (Funchal) and PortoBay Flores (Porto) were awarded two and one MICHELIN Key(s), respectively. This new classification recognizes hotels that offer exceptional stay experiences, focusing on quality, service, and authenticity.

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay was awarded 2 MICHELIN Keys, highlighting its privileged location and exclusive services, such as the infinity pool and high-level dining, including the Avista and Avista Ásia restaurants, recommended in the guide, as well as the proximity to Il Gallo d’Oro, with two MICHELIN Stars.

PortoBay Flores received 1 MICHELIN Key, recognizing its historic 16th-century building, which combines classical and contemporary elements, and amenities such as a spa, indoor pool, and an 18th-century chapel.

This distinction from the MICHELIN Guide highlights the excellence and authenticity of Portuguese hotels, marking an important milestone for the national tourism sector.
