On 7 November, Chef João Luz, from the Avista restaurant at Les Suites at The Cliff Bay, invites Chef Luís Gaspar, who leads the restaurants Sala de Corte, Brilhante and Pica-Pau of the Plateform group, for an exclusive dinner.
The menu, with a fine dining concept, offers a balanced journey between land and sea, highlighting classic techniques and exceptional ingredients such as scarlet prawn, eel, foie gras and turbot. This inspiration stems from the desire to showcase Portuguese produce through a contemporary, precise and harmonious interpretation.
The experience will be complemented by a selection of Portuguese wines, carefully chosen by resident sommelier Sérgio Basto.
“Duets” is the name of PortoBay Hotels & Resorts’ series of gastronomic events. By definition, a duet is a “composition performed by two voices or two instruments”. The Duets we present are also performed by two voices – the resident Chef and the guest Chef – resulting in a composition of their own, in this case a gastronomic one, blending the products and ingredients from each restaurant’s place of origin.
